Calendula is widely known for its natural antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and healing benefits. Its chemical composition contains among others saponins highly antiseptic and flavonoids. Its use is effective for rashes, eczema, seborrheic skin conditions, mild burns, and for accelerating wound healing. Natural calendula soap is suitable for sensitive skin and helps to soothe itching, dry skin and irritation.
